Tonight the winds have blessed me
‘Fore I have a tale to tell
The stars align and blessedly
Disperse their own and share
A story of misdirection
A lantern lit too far
A sense of misguided affection
Scars of battle not marred
A mind lost in the flurry
Of connection, can’t appease
These broken, battered scars, so sheen
Shall not heal without ease
