Felt like clearing some space in my hobby closet and painted pair of Savannah Masters plus a Caesar and Griffin from the Legendary Mechwarriors salvage boxes.

A girl who can pilot the Scorpion better than anyone else the company has ever seen, and refuses to pilot anything else. Nobody can understand why or how she pilots the Scorpion so well, up until she is challenged to a physical fight by an elemental.

Afterwards nobody can get the memory of her rapidly charging the elemental on all fours in a feral rush out of their heads, nor the memory of how quickly her opponent surrendered.

I've been getting really into Battletech recently and finally had some time to paint some of the minis, started with the ones in the Beginner Box. I painted the Griffin in Lyran colors, and the Vindicator I came up with a scheme for a custom mercenary unit I'm going to call the "Panzer Dragons". I'm still working on designing the logo for them and making a custom transfer sheet but I think I got the paint scheme for them down. These were a really nice break from Warhammer stuff, they don't have as much going on so they paint up faster and I tried some new stuff with Zenithal and Contrast paints with my Merc color scheme which was fun.
