A group of four Librarians, including the Terminator Librarian from Leviathan, the regular one from Armageddon, plus a pair kitbashed from Tigurius and a standard Primaris Librarian model. They were fun to batch paint, even if the runes on the newer ones were kind of tricky to navigate. Also glad I finally got to use L'il Baby Stabbums after getting him from my buddy Mason like 12 years ago!
A set of Heroforge minis for my D&D group, based on color schemes my players told me they wanted. Definitely simpler than GW minis!
Cadian Spectre Squad done! I've had them sitting around mostly done since writing a review for TabletopBattles back in April, but now they're finally finished! My favorite details are the radio woman and navigators' heads, which seem like they're based on The Boss and Old Snake from the Metal Gear Solid series. The cloaks even remind me of Boss' cape/poncho thing too. Also note the plasma gunner's mug at the end, which I painted like my Canopy Cat Rescue mug! This was a great kit, and while it was a lot of work for 10 guardsmen, they're bursting with character. Thanks to Games Workshop or the review models, even if it was a minute ago.
My Cogfort, Golden Goliath. My plan was to finish this in time for embargo, but I missed that deadline. Then the plan was to finish it in time for a game, then I missed that. Then, finish it in time for my trip to Japan, then I missed that too. Some 44 days after starting it, I finished this giant plastic albatross of a model, and it was an absolute journey to paint. A set of the new Freeguild Gallants from the Spearhead: City of Ash box. These guys were a ton of work, but I'm pretty happy with the outcome. I stuck with just one livery for the whole squad this time, as figuring that out on the Freeguild Cavaliers was a bit too much. Thanks to GW for the preview copy!

Last month we lost our sweet boy Blazco to heart failure. I grieve through my art, and right now that's mostly looking like miniature painting. A friend got me this set of Animal Adventures minis, and the fluffy, gormless little bard felt the most like Blazco to me. The pebble in his basing is from my neighborhood, tying him to the place he lived. There was never a heart so full of love nor a head so bereft of thought. I miss this beautiful little dingus every single day.
Ballistus Dreadnought "Bestione" for my Ultramarines. I've had awful luck with this unit all edition for my Templars, maybe painting one blue will give me some better luck. However it does on the tabletop, I always love painting these things.
With barely a moment to spare before Adepticon, I finished my Victrix Honour Guard! These guys took me a solid month of work, and while it was genuinely exhausting at times (I'm looking at you, Chapter Banner) I'm so, so happy with how they came out. Hopefully they justify the effort at the con!
Painted up the Battlefield Support: Assault and Cavalry Lance for my Lyran Commonwealth duders. It was fun to paint up a bunch of little tanks. Hopefully they won't instantly get punted next time I run into a Clan mech!
Painted up the Heroes of Sanctuary Hills from Modiphius - great set of minis that definitely sat in a closet for far too long.
Continuing from my last group of NCR troops, here's the Ranger Patrol set! Really enjoyed this crew; the civilian Ranger was a fun change of pace.
The House Greim Military Attaché, my first Necromunda models in entirely too long! Felt the need to paint some Imperial Weirdos after playing so much Rogue Trader. Mostly, I really wanted to use this Pro Acryl Jade as a base color, as it's just so vibrant.
Really been enjoying the second season of Fallout and wanted to paint up the NCR Core Box I've had lying around since... well, last season! Spent a lot of time researching wikis to get the uniform details right. It's fun treating this like a historical wargame in that way. Hopefully they'll get rules for Fallout Factions someday!
