21. Autumn 22. Family
21 + 22. autumn & family - innocent outsider.
It was Autumn when Haruka took his hand and escaped with him out of the facility. It was Fall when Haruka was taken in by a mother and her son, and he was picked up by a gang leader.
Admittedly, he was rather frightened during their separation. She was the only person he could talk to for a long time, and losing your closest friend and crush hurt. It was eventually dulled by the tiny gang’s few members pampering him in small ways. It was nice. Though he’d still really like to see his fellow escaper.
When his birthday rolls around the next year during Autumn, the base is dead silent and the only new addition is the little note that informs him everyone is out doing something or another, He’s disappointed by the lack of ‘happy birthday’ and wanders around town for a bit.
In front of the door when he returns, is a little package and note left by his ‘fated person’, as she called herself, which causes him to smile and open the door with slow, gentle movements.
The minute it’s closed and he’s inside about to go searching for the light switch, a loud ‘surprise’ nearly deafens him.
By the end of the night, he’s fast asleep with everyone in the living room, feeling like he has found a wonderful place to call home.
