BB cream is used as a (liquid) foundation that usually contains sunblock and is p moisturing too! Also can be used to lighten/hide some blemish on your face. There are some that actually helps improve the skin (rid of blemish) but are really expensive. If you want to use powder w/o foundation at least moisturize your face w/ face lotion(others too oily/heavy) and preferably carry around blotting paper to help oily during the day so your face still looks p matte and makeup doesn't smear as much.
