Did you like Innouva's addition to the cast, or do you think he was unnecessary?
I didn’t mind Innouva himself, honestly. Unlike Debonair or Sierra, I could see him fitting in fairly well in the manga universe. He’s got credible motivation and a plausible origin, and his existence doesn’t screw with the overall themes MKR has going on. In fact, I’ve mentioned before how I think the anime’s second season could’ve worked if they used him as the main villain instead of Debonair. So yeah, don’t mind Innouva for the most part.
My only real issue: The way they felt the need to rewrite what happened in the Mashin shrines to get him into the plot. I think it did Umi, Fuu, Ascot, and Caldina a real disservice.
