Last week we created/defined ‘Daydates.” This week, we made Daydates the platform for parents networking. Thus, this week we want to create a participatory roadmaping with customers to see what they really care about, and what are they willing to pay for?
Innovation Game:
The goal of this excise is to learn which feature users are actually willing to pay for. I wasn’t able to recruit a total of 5 parents to play the game, I talked to 3 parents and played the innovation game with 2 parents in my apartment complex.
I learned that recruiting and intercepting parents at the park, and extended daycare centers are extremely hard. Additionally, it is difficult to recruit parents who fit our personas.
The 2 parents I played the innovation game with were only interested free stuff/features. However, even thought they do not fit our persona, the innovation game was able to guide good discussion - it act more like a participatory roadmap. Now we know which features they care about, but not necessary which features are they willing to pay for.
