Oh shit. A child. It’s like dealing with Aki again; Maki’s brat shadow.

Tilting his head a bit, he thinks on the suggestion and a smirk settles on his face.

“Heh. Alright, I’ll give you a good show.” with that he balls up his fist again and punches a hole in the glass. Not smart because he has some shards in his hand now... but at least the glass shattered inward and didn’t hit anyone else.

“Shit...” the shadow frowns. He was trying to impress the kid annnd now he’s bleeding his oddly colored shadow blood.

“T-That’s good...”

He took a hesitant step toward the stranger, wondering if this guy was some sort of cosplayer.  His getup looked super old school - and what had he even been doing, perched on the side of a car like that...?! Sure, it had looked sort of cool but the fall from that car did not look like any walk in the park, either!

Reaching out a hand to help the stranger up, he decided he might as well introduce himself - if nothing else, the guy did seem to be an interesting sort of dude.  Maybe it wouldn’t hurt to stick around for a bit.

“Glad to hear you’re okay, dude.  My name’s Ryuji - Ryuji Sakamoto.”

Her temple, all stained glass and hallowed marble to exalt the highest on high. The Absolute Radiance’s burning eyes fell upon the former knight, who, though towering over most of Her fevered worshippers, still seemed a whelp in Her shadow. “𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐉𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐍𝐄𝐘 𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄. 𝐈 𝐓𝐑𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐈𝐓 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐀𝐍𝐓?” 

He figured that strange call he felt was unusual.  Ayuma had been taking a stroll, wandering a bit outside the area of the town he was familiar with, he didn’t even know this town had a church. Although the moment he saw it, he felt a strange attraction....  As if he was being beckoned there. 

The imagery on the stained glass was familiar to him for some reason, as was the Goddess that currently towers over him. 

“....Well it wasn’t unpleasant.”  “I usually try to avoid matters involving Gods, so why have you beckoned me? Who are you?”

Human, demon, beast. The lines could be so awfully blurred at times, where human rationality wrestled with primitive instinct. In a manoeuvre aimed to save the man from himself as equally as it was to save a very oblivious person from a mauling, something as white and unyielding as marble barrelled directly into the werewolf’s side, heavy wings firmly wrapping around the other and pinning claws down.

"Bwha!?" The lycan wasn't expecting that.. but perhaps this was a good thing, he'd been out of it. Stalking after someone with a beastly hunting drive, perhaps not even realizing it... Was he truly going to attack that person or had he just fallen into the motions? Even he wasn't sure.

"Wh.. what are...?" is this a demon that's got him?? they're strong... even with his own unnatural strength he can tell. Not that he's fighting hard to get away anyhow. "Um.. s.. sorry?"

Flynn wordlessly passes Naoya a length of rope.

He takes it and gives an understanding nod.

Okay, no. He'll use it to restrain Goro if need be though.

It’s been a while since she experimented with desserts, so Mystia was all too happy to go all-in for a fellow bird youkai(??) and her flock. Bri was served a large charcoal manju studded with black and white sesame seeds. Biting into it would make it ooze out a sweet strawberry jam, as red as a Murkrow’s eyes. Hopefully there was enough for everyone.

Of course, birds needed to eat insects so there were bits of fried cicada slough in there as well. Extra protein!

Charcoal the witch was not as familiar with - the only time she ever ingested it were alongside poisons. A miracle cure when it came to fixing her weakness towards toxins. But she didn't dislike it, either - no, it's the jam that's going to catch her interest.

Strawberry doesn't exist in her realm, but there was a similar equivalent. One she liked very, very much. Even if the berry she was familiar with had a much more bitter undertone. But pure sweetness was no slouch in her book!

.... she's not going to be too keen on the fried cicada, though. She'll eat it, of course (she's eaten some odd things in her long life) but protein just isn't her thing. The birds can have the majority of that, while she focuses more on the aspects of the dessert that demand her attention.

"Master, I'm detecting a... peculiar reading. Could you please head to your left?"

Peculiar reading was a new phrase; was this very different from strong demon or demon's domain? Well, following Burroughs always lead to good things (eventually), so he'd follow along without a fuss. As he wandered, he spotted a human with uniform on! Uniform meant friend, so he wasted no time rushing over.

Upon close inspection, man didn't look familiar. Didn't smell quite like home, either. Lulu was about to meow for a scan, but Burroughs already had him covered, "Scan complete. Master, this man is you from another world."

There was a world where he was human?! It must be a dream-- the words he could understand, the items he could handle with "thumbs", the fish he could catch and eat without relying on best friend to catch them for him! He must know everything!!

"Rraou! Nyaouuuu~?" Lulu wasted no time circling his human self, hitting him with the one-two rub against his legs and begging with the cute eyes. "Master Lulu is very interested in your experiences being a human instead of a cat," Burroughs almost didn't want to interrupt, but it was her duty to explain her master's actions. "Though in particular, he's curious about the fish you've caught and eaten without Issachar's help. Your name wouldn't happen to also be 'Lulu', would it?"

The two have a bad habit of not acknowledging or straight up ignoring their feelings. It's a bit rare for them to really confront their feelings, as they try and push as much of it down as they can. They are aware this isn't healthy and is definitely bad for them, but they feel stuck. Even if they do confront it, they can't change their situation, so what's the point in acknowledging it? It's just going to make them feel worse.

So instead they are going to ignore everything and act like it's fine.
