She had seen her alternative self. Through dirty windows and warped glass, but she moved fast and Rogue was often lost until a new shriek filled her ears and guided her like morbid bread crumbs.
There wasn't much that could be done once she touched someone. It was like a shock, her touch almost magnetic in nature as life and abilities were sucked out. Rogue herself had never killed this way, or any other way. That her other self was so willing and able to made her apprehensive, and she feared this manner of searching was soon becoming useless.
People were becoming scarce as the fighting went on, and she breathed a sigh of relief as she turned the corner and was met with a blond girl. Was it possible she might have met with her other self?
“Hey...” She held up her gloved hands, showing her lack of a threat and spoke as gently as her ragged breath allowed. “Ah'm lookin' for someone. Ah think you might've seen her.”
