Making his long awaited return, it’s Inos!!! :) <3 As revealed here, he celebrates Kwanzaa, the American celebration of African-American culture celebrated from 26 December to 1 January. The holiday was created by and is strongly associated with (though not exclusively celebrated by) the black separatist movement, possibly implying Inos is an adherent of the movement. Blake, who is not African American, is insulted by Inos’s assumption that he must celebrate Kwanzaa, clarifying that despite the color of his fur, that doesn’t make him African-American. His word choice in describing African-American skin as “sunburn color” is weird and probably offensive - has a sunburn on a non-African-American ever in the history of ever resembled a sunburn?
Alas, we never bask in the glory of Inos again after this page. Boo. I guess he was only dusted off in the first place because Chris needed a black person and Inos was the only one available (I suppose Louis Perez is meant to be Hispanic and Chris totally forgot Florence Fisher - I wouldn’t blame Chris about forgetting her though.) I mean, if I was Chris I’d have rebranded Sonichu to be called “Inos” and it’d be about Inos valiantly trying to save the marijuana from being shot to the moon, but whatever. You do you Chris.
