Hypothetical ask to the acting/directing masses!  What are people’s thoughts on recasting?  Can’t remember if I’ve asked this before.

To elaborate: It’s a possibility I have come up against regarding an unnamed project.  And recasting can be an extremely sensitive subject.  I, and people I’ve worked with, have been recast for a multitude of reasons, some legit, some pretty lame.  I think it’s very circumstantial, and do support it given the appropriate grounds.  But what exactly constitutes “appropriate grounds” is very broad and open to huge debate.  

tl;dr:  Recasting - discuss.  Thoughts?  Debate?  Head scratches?
