So the never-ending stream of thoughts that rushes through you mind likely will show no signs of stopping soon, and you might as well fumble this further instead of clinging to the confusion about what would ever make someone so pretty choose something so below-average looking.

31: Does somebody love you?

Taken aback by the question, asked in such an accusatory, or maybe even pitiable fashion, you find yourself quieter than usual. It takes a moment to process. Does somebody love you? Is this question applicable at all; to someone who never even received the obligatory giri-choco for Valentine’s day, and has never received a secret note that is carefully passed through the classroom to ask the common “yes, no, maybe” question?

Perhaps, no one has loved you in the way a romantic partner would. Though far too humiliated by that, you sway your answer, constructing a carefully laid out thought which might make your life sound less depressing than it often feels.

“My parents love me, they have done so much to help me in life even if I did things wrong sometimes…” Why else would they have cared for you so lovingly, with such warmth and care even when a younger version of you began slipping from their gentle embrace? And for the same reason, they still support you now if even beyond their means at times. “This is the only thing that counts, really..”
