Thank you to @risualto for tagging me! This was so much fun to do that I just made all my OCs, also I only have four, so it’s manageable.^^° Well, I guess I have one more from Star Trek that I made when I was like 11 and didn’t even know what fanfiction was, but I’m not gonna touch her until I sit down and fix the trainwreck I wrote back then. I saw @serenbach86 use this cute picrew and decided to a round with my babies again.^^ In order: Watcher Francesca, Watcher Favaen, Inquisitor Emblyn (still Pillars for anyone new, I have yet to actually decide if I’ll play DA), a human Mani because there was no blue skin so he got blue hair instead, Broder, and Queen Tamary (kinda, I haven’t done the coronation yet).

Since I just can’t do anything by half anymore, have all my babies! My two watcher ladies, Favaen in more practical blacksmithing clothes, and Francesca with open hair for once and just enjoying the safety of Caed Nua. Emblyn’s pic got a bit darker than I expected though... But I guess that happens if you give me the option of tears and a knife. And last but not least Broder once again handling shit because no one else does. Since I feel like everyone and their mother has already done this picrew, I won’t tag anyone specifically, but anyone who hasn’t done it and wants to, feel free to tag me in it. :)

Escape, Magic, Beverage, Law, Yack, Network for Emblyn please!

Gladly!^^ I’ll be honest, Emblyn isn’t really fleshed out much, since her whole purpose was basically just to be tragic and give Eothas more of a connection to Favaen, so I have to make up a lot of it on the fly.^^° But hey, that’s what these prompts are for! :D (Also I’m pretty sure I already fucked up the timeline the game gives you, so from now on it’s fair game on everything. xD)

Escape :: What do they do to destress? How successful is it?

Emblyn likes to make candles. It was one of the first things she learnt when joining the church of Eothas as an acolyte and it has since become a relaxing hobby. As high priestess candle making is of course no longer one of her duties, but she likes the escape ot offers and the satisfaction of lighting her own on the altar. 

Magic :: In a magic series or not, are they accepting, or is each instance a shock?

In Eora magic is just is, so that in itself isn’t really anthing interesting for Emblyn. Sure, an educated wizard is impressive, but it’s about it. Mor interesting is her relationship with her own priest magic I think. On the one hand she is incredibly thankful for it, but on the other she doesn’t like using it for trivial things. Emblyn would never just call on her priest spells instead of a torch for example. This stems from the idea that if she can do it herself she doesn’t want to bother Eothas for help. 

Beverage :: What do they most like to drink, and why?

Milk with honey, she really likes honey in general, since for a long time it was the only sweet she had access to.

Law :: What do they think about abiding rules? Are they selective about it?

Rules are of course there for a reason, but when she doesn’t understand for what reason she finds living with them difficult. During her time in the church of Woedica she was under a lot of pressure from such things, culminating in her ignoring some of them and comitting a grivious mistake (said mistake I have planned but it isn’t very high on my writing list yet). That experience makes her even more determinded to follow the rules, whatever they are, and for a while that was fine. In the church of Eothas the rules made sense to her and then later as high priestess she could even make rules, but when the inquisition became a thing she was once again put under a lot of pressure.

Yack :: What’s their favorite thing to talk about? What do they go on about?

Emblyn isn’t really much of a talker. So if she talks, she’s probably talking about Eothas, myths, legends, saints, in her job as a missionary.

Network :: Are they connected to the people? How much do they reach out to others?

Emblyn has trouble interacting with people if she doesn’t have a preconcieved notion of how it’s supposed to go. She can lead, follow, teach, and learn, but normal social interaction is more difficult. That is part of reason why her contacts basically only consist of Thaos and Eothas, because with them there is always a specific power structure in place that puts relatively little responsibility on her.
