Alright, i didnt do one for last week in the attic still cause i was fucking dying then but i am home again! So, Pathfinder time. Summary of last week, we met a ghost? Time whimey? version of one of the twin's ancestors who told us where the gauntlets are that we're searching for. His tomb. Convenient. And then we just barely managed to kill that genie and almost all died. But oh well.

This session! We did some shopping so it's a bit shorter.

It is hex crawl time! Through a fey forest. Our first encounter is with a weird cursed bird who can only talk to people around the person he is adressing. He is also very annoying when we don't want to eat his fey food. After some negotiating, and the twins picking up the other two, it is determined that eating it will be fine, so we do. It was fine. However Siegfried gets roasted the entire rest of the session because i said he was party guy in wizard college and everyone else determined I am too lame for that. Moving on we encountered a one armed knight who told us none may pass. We walked past him. Third encounter is a hot orc witch! She gives us a side quest to go grab her some cactus flowers in echange for a map so we don't get lost and drown in the weird time swamp. She also has at least two pet gators called Broccoli and Aubergine.

Next time! Swamp combat?

I am sick, let's get into the weeds of my Revan lore again. Particularly about main timeline lore, the Mandalorian clone of Alek they end up adopting and who Bastila then raises as her own son, because I am refusing to name him Vaner, I can come up with my own stupid ideas all on my own thank you.

The lore point for this is that he was the result of a project towards the end of the Mandalorian wars as basically a ditch effort to turn the tides, named accordingly, and was then raised by some Mandalorian (or adjacent) scientists in hiding.

What am I naming the Alek clone son boy?

Skira, Mando'a for Revenge, somehow leads to clan Skirata becoming a think?

Parjai, Mando'a for Victory, later goes by Jay

Kar'tayl, Mando'a for knowledge

A'den, Mando'a for Wrath

Actually I have a way better idea (pray tell 👀)

The last two I definitely thought about the least, I just wanted some options and so went diving into the Mando'a dictionary. If you've got some cool ideas, both completely different and just nicknames he eventually adopts, I'm excited to hear. 👀

taking a break from my hoodie (I finished the shoulder. I will post that also.) to do a little aroace design on my button up. I need to buy aro colored colorshifty thread to actually Finish This but the idea is for it to go into the vertical borders on the pocket (with the intersections having the sunset flag) and also around the Other Sleeve

I wrote like three more lines for the baby Alek fic (sshh at least it's more than I've done in weeks) and since I did make up a new Jedi for it I am now considering old republic jedi fits... Cause they're pretty consistently way more colourful than what we know from the high republic era. Zayne is probably still the most classic one, aside from first his red neckerchief and then the green shawl thing, and the random bits of joint armour, (and aside from the random background Revanchists that they probably didn't want to give special designs to), but every other major jedi character running around has something interesting going on. Even Vrook in his short appearance on the council in issue 9 is decked out in red. And the Covenant runs around like a bunch of peacocks anyway, everyone's super colourful, except for Lucien who has his weird white gold thing going. Not to speak of whatever the fuck Alek is wearing. Like yeah he's already kind of a renegade at this point, but they basically just left, if he wasn't wearing that as a normal jedi, did he just have that ready to go? Did Revan call together their Revanchists and Alek went 'Uuuh, I have the perfect fit for this??'

Point being I should make a design and just go ham on it, throw a bunch of colours and designs on it, why not.

Despite my complete lack of spatial reasoning skills I did finally magick up my stupid lightsaber setup

if you read my notes on the last posts you might notice that i gave up on the stupid idea of having the hilts slide into each other side by side, because it was in fact dumb and i did not remember why i thought i'd do it like that anyway.

The shoto I believe is self explanatory, the combinable chakram hilts have some thought in them. The top and bottom are a beskar alloy so it can withstand the saber. The bottoms can slot into each other and in the bottom is another connector that i didn't bother to draw. Also if those slots don't actually work, don't tell me, I already gave myself a headache trying to visualize it. space magic. The top bit is double plated and movable, meaning if you turn on chakram mode it gets broader and tilts forward to aim the beam in a circle. In straight mode it slides back again and the plates overlap to take up less space.

So yeah, behold: my stupid lightsaber setup.

I am absolutely delighted to inform you that this setup is real now!! And maybe next session I'll get to try them out hehehehehe
