If you're interested in the Scythians, they were my field of study for a while! They often made elaborately-decorated bridle pieces for their horses as well as human jewellery in gold, silver and even electrum. Googling "Pazyryk" (one of the more prominent Scythian cultures) brings up a lot of resources :)
Thanks! That’s such a cool area to study! Was this in grad school?

CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU
Thank you! That’s what happens when you run someone down in the mall XD. Shall I remind you next year?
I have half a gay geek D&D group ready to go if you guys want to band together XD usually the hardest part is finding any time in the week where everyone is regularly free all at once!
YOOO! That would be rad! I’m definitely in!
@jareckithekid, @pri-the-writer, @guru--guru, @pistol-packin-mama what about you guys? :D

Please... they're nothing alike. Valerian's actually a decent ruler.
I can’t agree until I hear Valerian’s stance on laborer unionization.
inquisitorhierarch replied to your post “What game should I play during winter break?”
Have you gotten around to seeing Prey yet? there's a free demo on the xbox one (or was when the game was released, at least XD) if you want to try it out before you buy it! Or they made the first story expansion of SC2 free to play recently, though it's the crappiest of all three story expansions because it just deals with the humans XD
OKAY so I was actually super excited to play Prey, and the game looks gorgeous. But I watched a PT of the demo, and I got... really stressed out. It’s so weird, as I’ve played way scarier games, but Prey and Evil Within are two games I cannot play due to how badly they stress me out.
And yes I still need to get SC2!!!
Alyndrana Mahariel
With her father killed and her mother having died of grief shortly after her birth, Alyndrana’s upbringing involved a lot of being passed around between other Dalish families. A lot of sitting in front of campfires waiting for the elders to agree on who would take her in that night. As a young girl, she found comfort in the warmth and constancy of their nightly fires, supposedly the gift of Sylaise, and the idea that “home” was something that you could make for yourself.
When the Fifth Blight struck and she had no choice but to become a Grey Warden, Alyndrana found he ability to maintain her personal idea of home tested. But eventually, through Leliana’s singing and thus the discovery of music, she embraced the life of a minstrel in order to help regain her feelings of belonging. Their two voices sang many a duet until it came time to slay the Archdemon, and Alyndrana made the sacrifice to save Fereldan, knowing that she could never ask anyone else to do so.
Alyndrana belongs to @inquisitorhierarch.
