Like i think my real problem is that i’m a psychotic person who basically ascribes to a pragmatic theory of truth. I have realized 10000s of things about the universe but if it won’t get me out of bed (or have similar tangible effect) i don’t care how technically insightful it is. Id rather be walking around helping people wrong as fuck

i walk into a bar -> a man notices that there is something off and unmasculine about me that i cannot change -> he insults me by pointing it out -> in order to defend my reputation and honor in the way that i believe i must, i am forced to challenge him to a ritualistic duel according to masculine honor code -> he is forced to accept because he too follows the masculine honor code, since it was what cause him to insult me in the first place -> because of my prowess in dueling, i win and kill the other man -> because the honor code of Masculinity and the honor code of the Law are different and in conflict (though they are in spirit made of the same stuff), i am now in violation of the law -> i am forced to flee town -> this cycle repeats wherever i go -> i am deeply lonely -> i do not believe i have any choice or agency in this loneliness
