A whole new journey - insanity day 29 Core Cardio & Balance
Quick update. I started recovery week and I gotta say i like this video. It's challenging yes, but so much fun. I took some breaks since I'm a bit rusty and my foot started hurting but overall it was good. PS. I know it's taking me more than 60 days to complete this (with all the hiatus i've been taking) but I feel so accomplished compared to all those people that just sit around all day or those who can't make it through 1 insanity video. I've been through 29! 29! For christ sake, and there's still many to come but I know I can do it :)
A Whole New Journey: Insanity Day 27 - Plyometric Cardio Circuit
I'm happy to say this is my last time doing this video , yaay!
I didn't excercise for 2 weeks (I was pretty tired with a hectic schedule the first week and my period didn't allow me to do much the next one) so today I decided I would since I had more time to rest during the afternoon and I still have a goal in mind.
It was awful I gotta say, I got tired, short breathed and dizzy I thought I was gonna faint more than 3 times, but I survived.
It amazes me how the human body takes so long to get use to something but so little to forget about it. So here I am, almost through month 1 of insanity (it has taken me much longer with all these breaks I've been taking ugh.)
A Whole New Journey: Insanity Day 26 - Pure Cardio & Cardio Abs
Today was a long day in general since I had like 3 hours of sleep last night and then I had an hour nap during the afternoon (so 4 hours of sleep total), I was pretty tired and I was gonna push everything out of my mind and call it a night but then I decided to work out.
At first it starded well, as always I did cardio abs first and I did good, I could reaaally feel the ab work (I was still quite sore from doing Cardio Recovery 2 days ago), I finished and decided to take a small break before continuing.
And then my motivation just vanished, I did feel like working out anymore but decided to do it anyway. I did Pure Cardio quite lazyly (is this a word?) to be honest, I was slow, took a lot of pauses and just plainly avoided some moves but hey it's better an ok workout than no workout at all right?
So well that's it for today :)
A Whole New Journey: Insanity Day 25 - Cardio Recovery
I don't know what happened today but man did I suck.
My triceps are soooo soo soo not in shape, and I can't seem to do elbows back push-ups they are really hard and they hurt.
My quads felt so weak today I couldn't do all the hip pulses cause they hurt.
And don't get me started on the high plank/low plank akhdkahd ugh.
Everything just sucked and I wanna cry and it was just baad.
A Whole New Journey: Insanity Day 24 - Plyometric Cardio Power
I know I always complain about this one (I'm not saying I like it now), but today I really, REALLY pushed myself through it. I was sweating so much at the end of the warm up.
I skipped a few sets of moves cause I was really tired and I don't wanna strain my leg too much but I feel good, powerfull, strong.
So I'm happy :D
A Whole New Journey: Insanity Day 23 - Cardio Power and Resistance
This post was supposed to be uploaded last night but oh well. Took a few days off (I gotta stop doing that) well the workout was hard in a way, I got tired quickly but I was able to push myself. I skipped a round of power jumps and a round of globe jumps cause I felt like my legs were gonna give out. The rest was okay I guess.

Today I was not my best.
I got tired rather quickly during cardio abs (which I do first), I didn't do the pure cardio warm up (just the last part). And then I just sucked during the rest of the workout. Ugh
