It was when her big green digital eye caught up at you that she knew you would be an interesting topic to study. But Archivist didn't expect to gain an obsession with you.
She has an entire shelf just for files and photos of you, which started out as a simple txt file to note your birthday, but is now filled with photos, personal files, and even little imaginary romance stories between you and the Archivist, written by herself for herself.
Of course, her followers dared question the Archivist's love-drunk state, saying her time wasn't worth it for a mere human who didn't make as many sacrifices and treated the Archivist like a goddess like the rest of her followers.
"Mere human, you say?" Archivist questioned, with the same "gentle" smile as always, which wasn't always a good sign. And with the freezing air and the dark of the archives area, it made the little librarian swallow hard.
"Well... Yes." They could already imagine the possibilities that can happen just from disagreeing with Archivist. "You've been distracted a lot recently mainly because of that simple human, m-my Archivist..."
The Archivist's gentle smile remained, she turned her torso towards that follower, and tilted her head slightly to the right.
"Do you even know them?"
"I mean–"
"Do you even know them like I do?"
The follower fell silent, and the Archivist screen quietly approached them, still with the smile.
"Answer me"
If you strained your eyes a little, you could see that same follower shuddering "I'm only aware of their name, my Archivist"
"EXACTLY!"
All the other followers shuddered as they heard Archivist's giant fist slam against the ground, hitting the protester square on. And when everyone noticed, the Archivist's smile was gone.
That librarian? Barely dead now, their body turned to rubble and filth, and their screen could barely stay on if it wasn't blinking steadily.
Archivist bowed their back animalistically, the only thing holding back their rage was the precious files around thrm. She squeaked her metal fingers against the ground to grab what was left of that follower, holding them over her screen, forcing a stare, and all who were there watched the scene in horror, witnessing the cruelty of the uberbot they worship.
"Now listen here, mere librarian. I know exactly how much that human is worth, and while I have a shelf of dozens, hundreds and maybe even thousands of files about them alone. You only know their name, and yet, you come here to disturb my glorious work to protest about something you are so competent about?! You don't even do the work to get to know them better!" The angry voice echoed through the entire area, and as if things couldn't get any worse, the Archivist hurled the figure that is almost impossible to think was once a follower of the Archivist to the ground, only to slam her palm against their body, finally driving them to their silent death.
And finally, after so much despair taking place in just one room, the after-death silence arrives.
The giant uberbot corrected their column, watching all those who were in shock at the scene.
Archivist sighed, resuming her calm demeanor.
"Clean up this mess, please. Y/N is coming over today."
