If you're new to buying premium denim, you've probably wondered why they mostly seem to come in a single standard inseam, rather than the varying inseam lengths you're accustomed to with a larger brand like Levi's. The answer, as it so often does in the clothing industry, lies with the factories. 

Denim factories generally have high order minimums for each inseam length, and smaller, premium designers can't afford to order that many pairs. As a result, designer jeans come in standard inseams that are meant to be hemmed to your particular length.
