#insect preserving

Would Mod Podge Dimensional Magic be enough to preserve an insect (specifically, the invasive spotted lanternfly) or at least its wings? I've seen them preserved in resin, either in blocks or as jewellery, but I can't handle resin pouring due to my and my cat's asthma. Would Dimensional Magic be enough to keep away the decay? Or would it be too heavy for the delicate wings?
