Heaven’s Rath Glaive - Silver Rathalos Insect Glaive

Insect glaives are so much fun to do because I get more opportunities to put glow pigments on them, especially the kinsects! This one was particularly difficult to make not because of the weapon model itself, but how it forced me to fight Silver Rathalos over and over again for his forging materials! It was horrible because I suck at fighting him in MHWorld! 😭 I swear give him to me in MHWilds and I’ll show him who’s boss!

I’m sorry but I already forgot the name of the kinsect, but it’s definitely one of the most requested ones.

[Monster Hunter] Iceborne Weapon Contest Entry by BlazingCobalt

So now that the finalists are up, I can throw my design out.

I wanted to make a Felyne themed insect glaive based off the Felyne line from previous games. It was a fun thing to do, now that I take a look at it, there are some things I would change for sure.

Still fun to do though!

Day 1. Hunter/Palico

Welp I was challenged to do Inktober this year and with the help of my boyfriend to create my list~!

Theme is: Monster Hunter!

So I’ll be drawing things from monster hunter and getting the ball rolling and trying to get myself to draw other things and get me out of my comfort zone~!

Despot's Twinbolt - Zinogre Insect Glaive with Carnage Beetle Kinsect

Been a while since I had an IG commission. Is it weird that I find it more fun to sculpt the Kinsect than the glaive itself? 😅

I’ve also decided to come back and play MHWorld again because of the MHWilds hype! MHRise was great, but World was just leagues better!

Hydros Arcana - Namielle Insect Glaive with Foliacath

I’m pretty disappointed with Namielle’s weapon designs... Not only does he not have a weapon for all types, but the weapons he does have aren’t all unique. This weapon reminds me of the Tobi Kadachi IG I did. Still, it was fun putting the glow colors on this piece. It’s mainly glow powder mixed with neon paint.
