Sophistication can be such a peculiar feeling.

I can say that I am always humbly surprised at how the human soul has the ability to move past things that once used to matter to us more than anything. Issues that once had the capacity to engross our entire time, thought, and energy have now succumbed to nothing but faded memories.. And, when randomly retained, merely induces a quick smirk of the lips --attesting to the brief awareness (and appreciation!) of our past naivety, if nothing more. I guess that's growin' up for ya.
