OMG read the Asassin’s Blade right now. Now. Go to the bookstore (assuming you don’t have it)

It’s basically a set of novellas narrating Celaena’s last few years with Arobynn in the Assassin’s Keep and her descent into Endovier. All the the novella characters return to the main story in ToG and Ansel is one of the characters Celaena meets on one of her journeys. She is also referenced to quite a few times through Tog, CoM and HoF.

Ex. “Across the White Fangs and the Ruhnns, all the way to the Western Wastes and the red-haired queen who ruled from a crumbling castle.” (pg 317 Heir of Fire)

She’s a very, very interesting character. ;)))

1: What was the last book i read?I finished reading Always Emily by Michaela MacColl, and started All the Light We Cannot See (Anthony Doerr) and they are both so good omg

4: Would you recommend it to other people?YESSS GO READ IT they're both historical fic, the former about the bronte sisters and the latter about two children in france and nazi germany during wwii

48: Which books do you consider "classics"?That's actually a really interesting question and I do consider the amazing timeless oldies classics you know like Dickens and Orwell and Austen, etc. but I consider classics to be those works of literature that are groundbreaking in their own ways in their own genres and bring something new but timeless to readers. So great works, old and new. pretty much.

49: Which books do you think should be taught in every school?wowwy wow um the thing is there are so many great works out there and i think learning and reading a book can either make it great or ruin it for people. Because in school we can read critically, look at all the thought behind everything and interpret stuff but if it makes it just a load of essays and stuff to write it can ruin it. the one thing i would really want, though, is for schools to not overlook the "non-classic fiction" like the new books that don't seem "deeeep" at first because there's a lot to every literary work and for schools to explore the depths of more diverse genres. but, i mean, to each school and teacher its own

50: Which books should be banned from all schools?OKAy so I have some things to say about this i actually researched this and did a speech in my last year's eng class (charissa you know haha) but i am not a big fan of banning books, from schools, from public libraries, from anywhere. not a big fan. that's an understatement. But i also get that schools need to make what they read "appropriate" to the age so I personally dont want to ban any books anywhere but i think like i said to each its own, and that only in curriculum based required reading too, because in a school library students will choose of their own will and i think if they want to read some book because they are mature enough they'll know and their parents will know too.

could you perhaps add a little "previously on YOJA" paragraph at the beginning of every chapter so in case we haven't read it in a while or we just forget, we know the context of each chapter? you know, just like an excerpt from last chapter where we left off?

Sure darling, I’ll try to remember to do that! I know the last few chapters in particular might have been a bit of a problem to follow since I posted 37 & 38 one day after the other and then had a gap of a week before I posted 39. [Sidetracked on work, drabbles, and other fics. Apologies!]

I am also going to try to post the link back to the main page, or maybe just a link back to the previous chapter on each chapter now - if that would help? Thoughts?
