You can totally join in whenever you want.  The reason last night was chosen was because it was the new moon (iirc - hexastrose, is that right?) and I’m pretty sure it’s still the new moon.

That being said, smiting the poop is an anytime event! Do it every week; do it once a year; do it three times a day; whatever you choose!
