the concept of jean telling jeremy he is beautiful and jeremy blushing so prettily *sighs*
damn I think I could talk about this scene forever. About his soft curls and gorgeous eyes, how the golden lighting makes him look like a literal angel.
how I want to punch Val for triggering and manipulating him.
"Isn't that what you want? To be accepted, to be chosen?"
this scene is so visually beautiful - and so disturbing at the same time.
I'm attracted to you sexually, physically, emotionally, romantically, mentally and spiritually
i’m done hearing out why Aaron Minyard would be a downgrade for whoever he’s shipped with. Katelyn Mackenzie, the woman that she is, risked it all, with her life, for that man and it sure as shit wasn’t just for some good dick—though it must be said that he’s a monster in bed with that thang. Kevaaron, Jeanaaron, Jereaaron, Sethaaron, you name it—Aaron can do ‘em all. he’s just that magical. ok? ok.
As someone with a personality disorder, Caine is kin material lol. Gooseworx did a great job at not only portraying the "borderline" of neurosis (compulsion to appease and be accepted/liked and need for control) and psychosis (the paranoid insecurity and existential fear of abandonment, if no one is actively thinking about/interacting with the individual then the individual believes everyone hates them or doesn't want them [episode 5 anyone?]), but also what it takes to get better.
I loved the scene of Caine "becoming human" through raw trial and error. Deep mental illness makes you feel profoundly inhuman as you look at what everyone else can accomplish and do and maintain, but you can't even have a friend.
You don't walk out of it thinking you're a good person. All those shapes that fell, imagine they are people. All the different shapes represent their specific code, their colors represent their temperament. They are all a combination of what they believe and value and what they have been through.
Understanding how those make closed loop systems, what makes a person, helps recognize how you can be a person too.
And that's what healing looks like.
It's also why I am so opposed to this legacy call-out culture online and in fandoms. If something doesn't involve you, mind your business about someone's past. You don't have to like them, or even give them a chance personally. But they DO have the right to move on and have the chance to be someone else to others. Not letting people move on isn't a sign of a good person.
It's the sign of someone who feels like they are bad, so they need to find someone they think is worse to deflect from themselves.
But the BEST part about Caine was the scene with the Moon. He says "I never programmed you to say you love me." And that's what it means when people say no one can love you until you love yourself.
Caine was so busy trying to make everyone love him, he couldn't accept the love that was willingly given to him. And it was only when he accepted he was maybe undeserving of that love- and accepted that reality- that true, genuine connection could make it through.
Friday morning, I woke up to my George Cameo. 💙 (Quite literally, as with our time zones difference, it was after 5am for me). 😅 But I did wait to watch it before work. My favorite yapper. 🥰 As always, George was his usual genuine and incredibly amazing self. 💙 The best way to start the weekend. 💙 I thought I'd share some screenshots from the video as I have no idea how to share videos. 😅 This time though, with George's very sweet & touching words at the beginning of the video, I'm *only* going to be sharing the pics and keeping the vid as something private. ✨ Thank you, George for your kind words and your advice. I will be putting them into employ as we have the same tastes, in both "smiley-face fries and a good story." 😉 Thank you for being you! 😘 Love ya! 💙
