Approachable and fun to read, Alexis Coe takes a harsher look at George Washington than many of the historians who have written about him in the past.
This was an entertaining review of a “different” biography style for George Washington.
While I have very literal interest in former slavers - Alexis Coe takes a less masculinity-obsessed approach in viewing Washington - looking at both his massive flaws as a human being as well as his accomplishments with equal measure.
