How to care for mirrors.
Hot water and a good cloth on the regular.
Windex for tough streaks, or as a treat.
Make sure to return movable mirrors to their original position. You’re more likely to accidentally break them if they aren’t where they are supposed to be. They don’t like to be broken, it reminds them of when they were stars.
Never let two mirrors look at each other for too long.
When leaving your mirrors alone for long periods make sure they have something interesting to reflect. They like things with shadows.
Make sure your shadow knows this.
Do not stand in front of a mirror that has not reflected for a long time. The old light inside it will be looking for new places to stay, like your eyes.
If you buy a new mirror and it has been facing another you must buy both. Infinity is hard to let go of.
Do not let mirrors reflect starlight. Sunlight is fine except after an eclipse.
Mirrors are cold for a reason, water know this. If water starts to freeze when touching a mirror. Leave.
If you leave an object in front of a mirror for a long time it might continue to reflect it after it’s gone. Do Not touch the reflection. It might remember your heat.
Paper towels work just fine in most cases.
