How the heck did I miss that NatGeo was showing Inside Combat Rescue and Inside Combat Rescue The Last Stand again? I have been waiting like a year or so for it to come back...
You guys ever watch it? Its pretty interesting. It's about the U.S. Air Force Pararescuemen while they are deployed and what their job is all about...
The Last Stand is intense...the command center had footage of two guys laying down wire for an IED but they couldn't get a hold of the team to warn them, 4 trucks of guys, no coms...and they passed over it without it blowing up.
And the guys go in depth about how it is to be deployed. there's a Ssgt explaining how hard it is to come back from a deployment to a newer guy...
Ever wondered what it was like for the military to be out? What they do day to day and don't know anyone in the military?
Go watch Inside Combat Rescue, or anything similar. You really start to understand them....
