It’s been seven years since Xu stopped using an alarm clock to wake up, mostly because they’d accidentally broken it and she never bothered to buy a new one, but she still thinks she could get used to it, waking up like this. 

Her eyes flutter open, and she turns into the touch, reaching for him as he pulls away. 

“Ngh-- come back.” It’s too early to get up and be responsible adults. It’s not too early for chasing kisses, though.
