I don't actually know, like my life isn't like GLORIOUS moments, it is like small moments that make me very happy. But if I really had to, once my whole family went on a dinner for my birthday and it was the four of us having fun, talking and I really felt happy.

Inspectrums, or Zac, is honestly one of the most remarkable human beings on this planet and I’m wonderstruck at the thought that I could simply stumble across his blog one day and introduce myself. I’m not sure if we are friends but he is one of the only people I’ve been able to vent to and in some way relieve my stress and frustration to. It might be strange considering I have never met this person, but those are often the ones that understand you the easiest and you’re able to be your true self to. I still listen to Butterfly Garden some nights when I feel trapped and I feel let out like a butterfly spreading its wings into the night sky and I feel at peace with myself for one night. I just want to thank you Zac for allowing me to feel peace sometimes because I know you probably didn’t think you’d ever have an impact on me like that but you have so I thank you.

This actually happened to a group of people I was with today. I’m not sure why this is but you make a good point.

The only reason is that this is how culture has evolved. There's no good or bad to it. It's only a problem when what is socially accepted as being "correct" (which in America is white culture) makes all other social standards contrary "incorrect" and insodoing the people who have different cultural values "uncivilized."

That's true. Sometimes, though, they're seen as rude, too. At lunch a few white sorority girls began howling at a table, and their sister shushed them and told them to quiet down while looking around apologetically at all the people who were glaring at them for daring to be loud.

I'm not just pulling this out of my ass. It's rude to be loud in white culture. Otherwise my black family and my latina family would shush me as much as white people do.
