the ship name for two of the main characters will byers and mike wheeler from stranger things. stranger things is ending very soon (the final episode set to release in just a few hours) and, as such, fans of this ship are going into overdrive with their psychosis since it is, currently, not canon and will never be canon as the creators have basically said as much over the course of the show's production. this is extending to the point of bylers claiming that byler was set to be canon (source: trust me bro) but after trump won the election, netflix forced the creators to not make it canon anymore. either that, the actors for these two are secretly fucking, or there IS footage of byler becoming canon but they just can't release it for Reasons. it's literally johnlock 2.0 but even worse bc at least with johnlock the fans WERE deliberately baited and fucked with.

oh also they all act like byler would've been like. the epitome of queer representation in stranger things when, as of now, there is a literal canon lesbian relationship. #fujofeminism truly never ceases its fascinating showcases of misogyny.
