Hacked Account: Please Read
This is a warning for anyone who follows me on Instagram. My account, Beautifulstarsbeastars, was hacked this week and has since been used to scam my followers and, potentially, hack other accounts (I know the hacker was able to hack someone since then and has tried to do it to someone else).
The scam the hacker used was something along the lines of ‘help me, my mom has inter bleeding, please send me money!’. The hacker line is literally ‘I’m tryna login my if account on my personal phone but it ain’t working It’s keep showing me stuff like error I’m on my mom’s phone now Can you help me please’ (they want you to send them a reset password link from your email so they can change your password, email and phone number on your account).
If you received any messages from the account (I don’t know if it’s even still active anymore since I can’t find it on Instagram anymore), please ignore, block and report. I’m sorry if anyone was already scammed or hacked but please understand that the account itself was stolen and was not created for that purpose.
The account was meant to be a place for me to post updates regarding my Beastars fanfics and other Beastars content I’ve made. It horrifies me that it would be used to hurt other people like this.
Also, please do not ask me about getting it back. Within the first two days of losing it, I was DM’d by sixteen to twenty different people from Instagram claiming to be hackers/programmers that can get it back if I paid them. I do not want anyone profiting off of my stolen account and I no longer want it back anyway.
I am currently re-uploading all my stuff on my new Instagram account, Beautifulbeastars. If anyone wants to follow me on Instagram, you can follow me there but please spread the word that a hacker may still be lurking on Instagram. I do not want anyone else being scammed or hacked because of this.
