Visual artist Helga Stentzel (@made_by_helga) believes in the beauty of imperfections. “All these ‘alleged’ defects give subjects their uniqueness and, often, transform them into objects of art,” says Helga, who lives in London. Since childhood, she’s been a creative thinker and an artist, and her account reflects her out-of-the-box ideas. She names simplicity as her top inspiration and calls herself a minimalist. “With the help of just a few lines, I manage to turn an ordinary object into something unexpected. In my work, there are no complex textures or shapes; I consciously try to avoid them, so as not to distract the viewer’s attention from the beauty of ordinary things.”
