Silly idea where you kinda end up with your home being the circus members second place to stay. I write this in like a hour and have no intention to proofread my nonsense.

Pierott of course is the first to come to you, after the first few spaced out (by a few hours) visits, he stays by more often since you don’t try to chase him off or tell him get out (at least not often) so he feels welcomed in your space.

It’s become a nightly routine for him to stay with you, even if you don’t allow him in the bed, he will sit at which ever side you’re sleeping in and ‘protect’ you in your sleep. He loves watching you sleep, you’re at peace, and he can guarantee you’re safe.

Harlequin follows soon after, intentionally dogging the sane time Pierott is over, eventually getting more comfortable when he sees you ‘welcoming’ him by leaving the door unlocked (it’s because you gave up on trying to keep them out.) so he begins staying at the same time Pierott is.

He starts spending nights over as well, he tries to weasel into the bed but if you don’t stop him Pierott will. He ends up half leaning on the other side of the bed watching you sleep at night. Sometimes he tries to agitate Pierott to make him accidentally wake you.

Ticket Taker had shown up one morning after the two clowns left at the same time. He doesn’t tell you why he stopped by, he just asked how long you planned to let your ‘pets’ stay over, and comments the longer you tolerate it the more comfortable they will get.

He visits less frequently, in-fact he visits most often after you’ve fallen asleep. He mainly acts as a mediator and makes sure the other two are never late back to the circus. A warning he will inform Jester about this is enough to make Pierott and Harlequin hurry back. He also has a habit of organizing your room at night, specifically making sure anything breakable is far away from Pierott and Harlequin while you sleep.

Doctor only visits after he catches Harlequin sneaking in the balcony. He invites himself in to see why his colleague just broke into someone’s home. After seeing it’s you he’s unbothered. He doesn’t initially stay often, but after a windy and rainy night he decides to stay more often.

He doesn’t go near your bed that much, seeing as the rambunctious duo have ‘claimed’ it. He work at your desk a bit, managing to get Ticket Taker to stay more often to help with his concoctions, since the other two don’t leave your bedside.

Jester is the last to come to your apartment, by then he’s already figured out where his troupe has been going, he’s frustrated, and followed a few of them a couple times. Just to know for sure, he comes in and waits hidden, wanting to see why they keep coming here.

He finds it amusing you truly are the only reason, he’d assumed they’d all been getting something out of this like food or something directly from you, but just for snippets of affection from a tiny human?

He only approaches you once you’re alone, explaining he’s willing to…compensate you if you let them all, himself included stay here when they aren’t needed at the circus.

You basically can only say yes, they are all staying regardless of you being compensated, might as well take it.

Jester makes it clear to the group even if they all pursue you, he has a higher claim then them, and to drive that point home, he’s the only one who gets to sleep in your bed with you every night.

Though, at least he gets them all bedding to sleep more comfortably in your room.
