no, we’re not having a birthday party, we’re just cleaning out our pantry! 🤗 felt a little uneasy making cinnamon rolls for the first time cos of my not-so-good relationship with yeast, but had a dose of beginner’s luck following a recipe from @ambitiouskitchen OMG i ended up making the best dough i’ve rolled in my baking history LOL i think it helped that i used actual bread flour and it worked wonders 🌟beefy who does not typically have a sweet tooth had 4 rolls in one sitting so that says a lot i guess?! 😬 paired this with tomato cream bolognese for dinner, and a garlic bread roll from our frozen food stash LOL still cleaning up our fridge so you’ll be seeing more kitchen action over the next few days 🙃 #instamisis #bellestarbakes #domesticity #iloveweekends #pantrycleanout #foodgasm #homebaking #homecooking (at Miffy and Beefy HQ) https://www.instagram.com/p/CGNOhMenPTh/?igshid=1xx9wzsq7r17v

still haven’t gotten over my baking fail for beefy’s birthday, so i picked up the leftover apples and gave his favorite dessert another go! made a brown butter apple tart inspired by a recipe from @buzzfeedtasty. modified the recipe a bit and added a dash of cinnamon and took out the lemon zest cos we’ve been having our fair share of lemon pastries for weeks LOL OMG it came out of the oven looking rather pretty, dusted the top with some cinnamon sugar for more fall feels 🍂 let’s see how this would taste with some vanilla ice cream later! 🍏🤗🍎 #bellestarbakes #instamisis #domesticity #homebaking #desserts https://www.instagram.com/p/CFWvjeBnZ6yIz_1clVC_BsFNi7hTgHlQURhC8Q0/?igshid=1fbcppftuc0sm
