MiNT Instantkon RF70 // Instax Wide
I was out in Hawaii recently for the POW! WOW! mural festival this year. Kevin Lyons was touching up his mural from a couple years ago. The tropical weather really beat this mural up. Really popular among tourists for photo ops. It was great meeting Kevin for the first time, really nice dude. Shot this with MiNT Camera InstantKon RF70 camera on Instax Wide film. A lot of the photos I shot on this trip were either Instax Wide or 35mm film since I didn’t get any support from Polaroid Originals. Expect more photos from me in the next couple of days since i’ve got a lot of scanning to do.
MiNT Instantkon RF70 // Fuji Instax Wide
HUGE shout out to the homie, Brian for giving me packs of Instax Wide film for me to test out the Instantkon RF70 today. It’s a little tough for me to shoot with it because i’m not used to having more than one piece of a camera to configure. Overall, it felt really nice with framing, focusing, and learning aperture/exposure. With it being more of a manual camera, it made it more fun to learn things and see what worked well and what didn’t. Really great camera to work with, and I really liked the quality of the shots that were actually exposed right. I need to practice more, and thankfully I have a lot of film to play around with.
Just received MiNT Camera’s latest and greatest camera, the Instantkon RF70 in the Mail courtesy of the MiNT Camera team. Can’t wait to take this out to shoot. It’s a damn shame that Polaroid Originals wouldn’t do the same for me but whatever, not like they care about their day one supporters anyways. Huge huge thank you’s to Koyi and Gary at MiNT Camera for blessing me with this fantastic instant machine! I love you guys! Thank you thank you thank you!
