INSTAX DIARY
Apart from my usual artworks I’ve decided to also include in here photos I took with my instax camera! I’ll be tagging them with #InstaxDiary
Hope you like em’ Stay Tuned! x
2016 Favorite Instax Wide Photos
Last year was the year where I decided to sell my Instax Wide camera in the hopes of buying a Lomo’Instant Wide. But, things got in the way. (Like my endless love for film photography that’s why I bought different film cameras.) I also tried to sell various things to save more money but, oh well, papel. Hahaha!
Anyway, these are the ten wide photos that I truly cherish from last year’s set:
A portion of the place where we spent a weekend at Alfonso, Cavite.
The actual structure where we stayed during that staycation.
The view from the floor-to-ceiling glass windows of the structure.
Another view from the place when it was raining.
A photo of KC, DY and I after our graduation pictorial. Love these girls since frosh years, solid!
Titas of Manila carrying me after our graduation pictorial.
Another view from Alfonso, Cavite during the rain.
A photo of my sister just watching the view as the fog started to embrace the surroundings.
Sunrise from Cavite!!! I really love this one.
One of the few wide photos I took during my first ever visit to Baguio.
2016 was full of adventures and I wish to share more of them with everyone this year. I consider everything as blessings and I am grateful for every moment. I may not be able to continue this particular series since I don’t have a wide format instant camera anymore but I do hope I’ll buy one soon enough.

2016 Favorite Instax Mini Photos
Another year has passed which means another set of Instax photos! I think this will be an annual thing now. (Except for the wide ones, I guess. I sold my camera to my friend in the hopes of buying a Lomo’Instant Wide in the future.)
Here are my 10 favorite photos which were all taken from last year. I honestly didn’t use my Instax camera that much which is why most photos are related.

April 2020
I dropped my camera in the New Jersey ocean this weekend (I was upset mostly at the loss of a full film cartridge because I quickly realized it was time for a new one anyway) but Instax has improved so much? There are so many models! I had a mini 25 from like 5 years ago (literally) I really want the 90 or the wide, but they're expensive compared to the 8 for example, which also comes with a really cute accessory package AND some pretty colors. I only really use my film camera for occasions so should I get a nice one or just say fuck it and get a cheaper cuter one? I've never been a practical person before but I think I'm leaning towards the 90...
Let’s get an instax 90
That’s it. I’ve been searching the market for a new camera, and I think i’m gonna get an instax 90. It’s def within my budget, and Im not a very serious photographer, so I think i’m good! I was looking at mirrorless cameras but I don’t think I should pay that much for such an advance camera i’ll hardly use. And point and shoots are so . . . I dunno. The polaroid sounds perf; instant, film so its nostalgic and cute, and not so serious.
