INSTAGRAM: @queenbeelopez I know I’m a day late posting this. But between studio session and hosting my son’s birthday party. I was to tired to post it. I just wanted to take this time to wish my baby a Happy Birthday! How on earth did the last four years past by so quickly. One minute, you were in my belly, the next minute you were in my arms, holding on to me for dear life. And now you’re a big boy and wanted to get into sports such as soccer. Looking at your pictures you are so much like your daddy. You may look like your daddy. But I hate to break to you kid, you got you’re mothers short temper, and your moms potty mouth. Thankfully it’s in Spanish so nobody really knows what you’re saying except for your dad 🙄😬🤦🏽‍♀️. I swear the first time he heard you say shit in Spanish Your dad almost had an heart attack. I’m gonna have to stop letting you watch Spanish gangsta movies and reality shows with me. Even though I am proud that you’re learning some Spanish lol. Anyways, I love you baby and I just want to take the time and let you know what a blessing you truly are to me and your daddy. Because of you, I am a mom. I am a completely different person than I was 4 years ago. I was selfish, self centered and only cared about my self. But now that I have you I know what it means to be selfless. I am a better person and I have you to thank for that. I would be lying to you if I said I was always perfect or I always made the right choices. But thanks to you and you’re dad. I’m in a better place now and You are my number one and that will never ever change. No matter how old you get. I love you more than I can tell you. I am proud of the person you are and the one you’re becoming. You can be the biggest brat one day but be the most caring kid I have ever seen. So I’m guess your Dad’s traits do sort of come out of you everyone once in a while lol. Sometimes I wonder what the future will be like for you because honestly, the world can be a really shitty place. It can feel terrifying at times, especially as a parents. Your dad and I want to shelter you and protect you from the bad things in life and in the world (though I know I won’t always be able to). For now, I want you to enjoy being 4, loving life and seeing nothing but good in the world. On your 4th birthday I want share 10 reasons I love you!

1. I love that you tell me, unprompted, that you love me and that you ask if we can snuggle.

2. I love that you can spend hours building Lego and have so much fun pretending to be Super heroes.

3. I love that you have such a love for sports. Because back in the day sports was everything to me and your grandfather Roberto.

4. Even though others don’t always appreciate this, I love that you’re not afraid to cry.

5. You make me proud when you’re able to calm yourself down when you’re upset. I love that you try to do that. Because lord knows your mommy isn’t always so good at that.

6. I love that you can whisper really well and I love the quiet conversations we have in the middle of the night.

7. I love that you are a goofball and love laughing. You make me laugh on a daily basis.

8. You’re helping me learn to be a better person and I love you and thank you for that.

9. Even though you don’t always get it right, you’re usually polite and respectful of others. I love you for this.

10. You’re a fantastic little brother to your sister Ari. My love for you grows when I see the love you have for her. I wish you wouldn’t harass her in the next breath, but it’s okay- you’re 4. And lucky for you Ari has Aunt Bee’s patience lol.

For a while now you’ve been telling me you’re not a baby. I tell you I know you’re not a baby- you’re a little kid.
