Brothers in Arms

In Tekken 8, Jin and Lars had fully put their time as enemies behind them because of fated events that had happened in T7 beforehand, causing them to form an unbreakable bond of brotherhood and friendship that couldn't be destroyed. Here are some quotes from the T8 SXT (Scenario X-Type) story, "Brothers in Arms," that really sets the tone for their brotherhood-like friendship to remain eternal.

“No matter how hard we fight against our opponents, nothing can break our bond between each other, which makes us like brothers towards each other, or more likely, the brother we never had! Even as a member of the Tekken Force, my comrades, including my fallen friend Tougou, treated me like the brother they never had as well! And Jin, you repaired that broken tie between us, because both you and my new otherworldly friend Noctis filled in the void Tougou had left behind after his death. Now, with our friendship and power getting stronger than ever, we will keep on training, fighting, and even going to new places we’ve never been before!”

-Lars, speaking to Jin about their brotherly bond towards each other, and what they plan to do for the future, along with him mentioning his past & current friends

“We will always be just like brothers, no matter how intense the battles will be, Jin.” “Right, Lars. Even though you lost a lot of friends, including your best friend Tougou, during this intense war, I was the one who filled in that void which represented him, along with your other friend Noctis. And when you recruit new soldiers for your army, you’ll befriend them right away, just as you did with your old friends who were also soldiers in the Yggdrasil army.” “I hope so too, Jin. We may have started out as enemies on opposite ends, but that is not true anymore. We put our times as enemies behind us forever, and you put your time of controlling Alisa in an evil way behind you as well. We both also found love within us—me with Alisa, and you with Xiaoyu. And of course, we will even get stronger every time we’re together and fight a new battle with us on the same side!” “And nothing can break that bond we have formed, not even the most evil & powerful entity that exists on the face of this Earth! Let’s go back to Hayato & Lee and see if they have anything new for us to do.” “You got it, Jin. Let’s go.” “I’m with you, and I always will be, Lars.”

And even though Lars & Jin are both half-related, they still treat each other like the brother they never had. Xiaoyu and Alisa would start a similar friendship at VSHQ (where the T8 SXT stories are all set in), just like they had done in Tekken Blood Vengeance, only with Alisa completely in control of her own body. Of course, Jin would know what happened to Alisa based on info Lars told him.

(Again based off my comfort ships,) Saiko and Tari or 3 and 4 get eachother gifts, a simple scene that would be really adorable

Meggy and Mario get eachother gifts (siblings) or they pull a silly prank on eachother

A snowball fight between the entire cast

And lastly, Mario pulls off a dumb move at the end, probably at the end and ruins the Chrismas party. But they all laugh it off as the episode ends

Baby, why are you doing this too me. Setting my whole body/mind/soul on fire every day and never rushing over here to quell the flames. A dangerous game. When you know damn well that just one sip from your holy waters would calm the spark. (And then immediately make me want you 11x more somehow.) I’d happily drown in you forever, even if it kills me. I tell you all the times. Like it’s my sole purpose on Earth; I remind you. I think you love how intensely and obsessively I wish for it. I fear you love it so much that you’ll never let me get to the next level of the game. But, I know there has to be more chapters to this story. So I cling to the glimpses of an ‘us’ that you bury six feet beneath your words like I am dangling off the side of a cliff by my fingertips.

Arson. A criminal offense that leaves me daily in a pile of Ashes at your feet. But you’ll say, “At least you’re not so cold now.” An Ashy blanket; covers every inch of my skin. I can’t see anything through the soot, as I painstakingly peel my eye lids apart to see the destruction we’ve caused. But, it’s juxt two emerald lights and an all-knowing grin gazing back at me in the darkness. Seeing right through me with X-ray precision. Each breathe I take of you burns my lungs. A new high. I choke and cough until I’m dizzy. But, no gods allow me the sweet relief of death. The only force that could possibly release me from your grip. But the ache. The burns. The way my Ash lingers on skin. Stains all of my garments. It only make me want you More. A wildfire in a dessert. But all I can do is wake up every day praying for a merciful rain to end this suffering.
