FINALLY managed to finish this latest #InTeaandCoffee #DerbyChurches piece! So here you go, a nice big look at it. I’m so very proud of this one, which depicts St. Giles’ Church, located just around the corner from our flat here in Derby. This project’s come a long, long way since I started it a year or so ago. I feel like I can really see how much I’ve improved since that first little doodle of my hand way back when.

I sold this #InTeaandCoffee painting of Holy Trinity Church yesterday! It's all wrapped up and on its way to its new home. It was bought by an elderly gentleman as ananniversary gift for his wife as they got married there many years ago. I hope they like even half as much as I liked painting! All done! Only seven more paintings to go in this #InTeaandCoffee 'Derby Churches' series! This one depicts St. Michael's Church. I'd say this was probably one of my best paintings to date, certainly one of the ones I'm most pleased with. Can't wait to do another later in the week. Keep an eye out for another little time-lapse of the painting process on this one, I'll be uploading it at some point soon...
