I've been thinking lately about what we all really want. We all want truth that we can believe, not just truth that someone says or writes is true. We want independence, freedom and love. These things are in dwindling supply as life seems to get tougher. So we resort to escapism. We play. Just like children who do not yet have the knowledge and skills to deal with grown up life. We avoid responsibility and retreat into ourselves. I think its part of the depression epidemic that is beginning to grip western society. How do we change society so our reality is more idyllic that we can be happy in reality and not need to retreat and isolate ourselves ? Our lives are becoming more and more complex we are being overwhelmed. We suffer from cravings and are never happy with what we have, how we look, who we are. Its OK to have questions, doubts, cravings. We are all in this together. Together we can get through. Ram Dass says we are all just walking each other home. If I can help you and walk beside you, I'll do what I can. It might not be much but ask anyway. #infinitelove.
