Walter… I highly suspect that you always intended to betray Hellsing. Or at least, maybe you planned to since I released Alucard and began relying on him as well. I just don’t understand it, Walter. You raised me. You took care of me. 22 years… why? If you were going to turn your back on everything we had built, on Hellsing, on me… why take care of me? Why wait so long? Alucard was powerful, sure, but it could have been an easy fight for you who was trained against him. Why wait until he had sired someone, gained the power of many powerful threats, and he was surrounded by blood?
You’re a fool, Walter. You shouldn’t have betrayed everything in such a hopeless moment. And yet, I still mourn your death. I looked up to you as a second father, and I appreciate all you did for me.
