A Dell lança o notebook Inspiron 15 5000 com o acelerador de sistemas Intel® Optane™ Memory, uma tecnologia com componentes em hardware e software que estabelece uma ponte entre a memória do sistema e o armazenamento para aumentar o desempenho do computador. O equipamento é o primeiro do mercado brasileiro equipado com a tecnologia que permite ganhos no desempenho geral na comparação com equipamentos sem o componente.
A tecnologia Intel® Optane™ oferece uma combinação de elevada taxa de transferência de dados, baixa latência e grande resistência. O recurso acelera o sistema ao combinar recursos de hardware e software que garantem que os dados mais utilizados pelo usuário estejam disponíveis de forma mais rápida. Para isso, a inovação trabalha em conjunto com componentes como disco rígido, a memória RAM e o processador, otimizando o acesso aos dados e trazendo ganhos de velocidade que vão da inicialização do sistema operacional até a abertura e execução de aplicativos e games.

Os equipamentos contam ainda com as tecnologias Dell Cinema, que combinam recursos avançados para priorização da banda de internet para reprodução de vídeos online e som com calibragem Waves MaxxAudioPro.
Com tela de 15 polegadas e resolução Full HD, o equipamento mantém a identidade visual da série com acabamento externo metálico premium e alta conectividade, incluindo o novo padrão USB Type C 3.1 e conexão Ethernet.

Some New products details, specs and info have been spotted in documents about new Intel plans about future Intel Optane memories. The MYCE.com spotted a product change notification (PCN) for the 900P from Intel. The documents lists three main changes about the The regulatory label gains some additional logos and also the drives to use slightly lower than current and the retail box will now list the shipping firmware. The PCN goes on to list two new optane memory capacities probably coming to the Optane 900P product series. This is the first time hearing of a 960GB and massive 1.5TB optane drive this fast. When we all originally were first briefed by Intel about 3D XPoint technology, the company said the products would increase in capacity. This year we saw the enterprise variant, DC P4800X, grow from 375GB to 750GB. Intel has previously mentioned a 1.5TB model in passing, but with low initial capacities we didn’t expect to see the series break the 1TB barrier for a few years. The PCN document doesn’t list any release dates for the two new capacities, but it does say the labels will change on or around December 27.
Optane promises speeds that is seven times faster than the competing NVMe SSDs. Intel promises sequential read speeds up to 2500MB/s and sequential writes of 2000MB/s. INTEL HAS released its first solid-state drive (SSD) to incorporate its Optane DRAM technology. The 900P series is aimed at high-end, such as gaming machines and workstations. The potential RAM of your machine can go from 32GB to nearly a TB if needed. Now Intel is bringing it on home with long-awaited U2 and HHHL format drives in 280GB and 480GB.

Intel Optane memory was announced in March 2017 and is now available to purchase at stores. “With the increased speed and responsiveness of Intel® Optane™ memory in a 7th Generation Intel Core processor-based system, users can do more with their system, without sacrificing the value and capacity of a hard disk drive.” Intel claimed in their website and news conferences. But how it actually is going to help and how does it work to increase performance? Intel has claimed repeatedly that “Games and levels will load faster too – up to 67 percent faster game launch and up to 65 percent faster level load”
Intel optane is actually is to work like a ram and temporary that bridges between hard-drive and data processes, the only difference is that it is not temporary. Optane holds to data and keeps is on so you do not even lose data like a loaded game if you turn off the PC or even just get out of the game. It learns how the data is being used and keeps the track of user behavior in data the user use. So it can be described as a ram that doe not really lose data and is not temporary.
Optane project code name is 3D XPoint and devised by Intel and Micron. The structure that is generally believed to use some kind of change in resistance to record data, but its performance characteristics and technical capabilities make it appealing for a wide range of applications and specially video games as the giant running apps with huge data loads. One of the most important characteristics of Optane is the capacity. its promising up to about 500 GB in near future. Imaging haming 500 GB of ram, thats dreamy and is very expensive not only because you have to buy a lot of ram but you also need a lot of power and very high end mother board and so on just to support such a large amount of ram memory.
