Pros of wearing a cloak all the time:
Looks cool
Nobody can steal your phone from your back pocket
Billows epically when you walk into the subway and there's a train there
Billows epically when there's wind
You look like a wizard
You feel like a wizard
I once had a pair of little kids come up to me and ask if I was a wizard
Doubles as a blanket if you get eepy
Put up the hood to look mysterious
Hood fits over headphones
Hood fits over big hoop earrings (I don't have these but it's still a bonus)
Perfect if your sleeves are too puffy to fit into your coat
Great for people who have sensory issues with sleeves
Great conversation starter
Great weekend project (if you sew it yourself, which is probably cheaper)
Really warm in the winter (if you use wool fabric)
Keeps the sun off in the summer (if you use a lighter fabric)
SO MUCH FREE SPACE FOR EMBROIDERY
There is a good chance it will boost your self-confidence
Pretty sure it'll do the same with your self-esteem
(Nothing in this life is certain, and anyone who tells you otherwise is trying to sell you something)
(I think that's how the quote went)
Fuzzy
Cons of wearing a cloak all the time:
none
I have been informed that Edna would be upset

Things i’ve learned while working at a bird hospital for about a year:
Pros of owning a bird
Makes you feel like a Disney Princess
You can build one of the strongest bonds you can ever have with your miniature tiny dinosaur
BIG personalities
Very smart
Long lived if you do everything right!
Incredibly cute little (or big) faces ‘v’
They can mimic words + phrases
They’re really good at learning tricks!
Very rewarding to have a good healthy birb :)
Cons of owning a bird (wow its long)
It is. A lot. Of work.
Cages must be cleaned everyday or every other day. Their poops harden like cement if you don’t. There is also this thing called Bird Fancier’s Lung if you don’t clean.
They are seed distributors, they are incredibly messy when eating.
They need to have particular diets and are prone to health issues if their food is not well researched (seed is treat, not 100% of diet)
They are very fragile.
You don’t have permission to sleep in anymore.
They are very loud and love loudness.
Incorrect husbandry can make them sick or INCREDIBLY HORNY.
Incorrect husbandry can end up with you needing stitches depending on how big the bird is.
Incredibly horny birds are aggressive, loud(er than normal), and destructive (either to their surroundings, to you, or themselves)
They are prey animals and are very good at hiding when they don’t feel well.
When you see they’re not feeling well, it’s bad.
GOOD avian vets are few and far between. There are vets that say they will see a bird, but they may not have the comprehensive knowledge your bird needs.
(This is because avian care is not sought out in vet school, it is simply not profitable :/. Yes this is one of the main factors why there are so few GOOD avian vets)
Before getting a feathered friend you need to do research on the vets in your state/country to see if there are any avian vets within emergency driving distance (if there is an avian certified vet omg thats the jackpot 👍👍👍)
They are toddlers with pliers on their faces.
Egg laying can lead to calcium deficiency or even death if your bird gets egg bound
Some housing and apartments may not let you move in with a bird
Expensive…
LONG LIVED. Some small birds live to 20-30 years, some 40-50, some 60-80.
Hard to rehome
There are more things but they are more niche. Also all of this is from the perspective of someone who works as a cog in a bird hospital so I see a lot of the negative
anyway if you got this far heres a photo of a lil guy
stoopid idiot wouldn’t stop chewing his leg
The pros and cons of Changelings based on the pop-culture versions of other splats
彡 𝐁𝐎𝐘𝐒 𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐒𝐎…
NOTE — headcanons on relationship pros and cons with each of the sumeru boys (fairly canon views though) — you can use these as basis for a relationship with them if you have no idea how a relationship with them would be like. any other ideas to add, let me know and i'll add it here! but in reality, if you need to make a pros and cons list at all they're probably not good for you...
The duality of man:
You don't know much about Calogrenant yet, but imagine the opposite of Kay. By the time that Ywain is ready to be someone's squire, Cal and Percy are about the same age (early twenties).
Let's see, Percy has appeared in multiple asks I've answered... You've met Calogrenant already, but this far, he's only a little boy and you have a very short conversation with him. He's a minor character unless Morgan makes certain choices (such as picking him as mentor) but he's recurring and will have at least one dedicated mission.
Pros of Percy:
- amazing fighter
- vaguely holy
- Ywain loves him and would have more fun with him
Cons of Percy:
- say goodbye to knowing where your son is ever again
- can't teach worldly information
- his weirdness may rub off on Ywain
Pros of Cal:
- is Ywain's cousin
- very responsible, dignified and eloquent
- Ywain generally likes him
- will keep safe
Cons of Cal:
- not an outstanding fighter (but gets the job done 80% of the time!!)
Gals, I think he's the one
