Freedom is a mindset u guys, success is a mindset, happiness is a mindset, fulfilment is a mindset, everything is a mindset if u really want it…..
oscillating between loving and hating humanity is a canon experience, i fear
and we must be very careful during this time, because going down one path is very, very dangerous
there *are* wonderful, good people out there, no matter how harsh people have been to you, and every single person-- regardless of their "goodness" and regardless if they've hurt you-- is deserving of being understood. (Trust me, it's easier said than done, and hatred/anger/spite are valid emotions, and should not be ignored.) I'm not saying we should confuse understanding with forgiveness & acceptance. People do awful, hurtful things, and they aren't owed your forgiveness unless you are willing ready to give that. But I do think everyone should think deeper and think about what's going on behind the action, what's going on that is causing that sort of behavior. This leads to solutions and a saner, healthier society (vs spewing out only hatred.)
We all have the capacity to become monsters. Every single one of us. Sometimes being a monster is a subtle thing. Sometimes being a monster is when you can't hold regard for anybody but yourself and your own experiences, and consequently, you hurt others. Sometimes being a monster is when you think your moral standing condones hateful actions. So we have to be very mindful of ourselves, be aware of our thoughts, feelings, beliefs-- so we do not end up in a worse moral plight.
Tomura has all those hands yet not one of them will lend him some chapstick . God save those lips straight from the dusty deserts of hell.

I love Oscar Scheller, though I confess I only know a handful of his songs. They’re all amazing. ‘Half Eaten’ and ‘Average Joe’ and ‘I’m Enough’ are my favs I think. TW: abuse. He was an abused kid, and consequently was so deeply sad at such a young age. It’s genuinely heartbreaking. But he was smart, and had his guitar, which was there with him through a lot of tough, dark times. He reminds me of the first person I ever fell in love with— such an unconventional, genuinely kind, intelligent, bright, interesting, depressed person. I am fascinated with these people. They’re so similar yet so different from me, and I wholeheartedly love them, because I also understand family pain, and they deserve the world.
And oh my.. I don’t mean to sound basic, but Taylor Swift is incredible at lyricism. She so elegantly commands the English in her songwriting. When I hear her music, I can feel the emotions she’s portraying— it somehow matches the music/notes so well. Her music evokes such intense feelings by depicting a story, too.
What about you? Your favs? :)
