So I begin reading Frankenstein...

I'm back on my bullshit. I've been doing some art fight attacks and reading. Alas...my gay heart has a weakness for pathetic, science men.

(I forgot to change "Francis" to "Francisco" and I'm too lazy to change it. But the insert is named Francisco!)

So, a little information about this AU:

In this universe, Frankenstein doesn't actually flee from The Creature, who he names Adam. He moves into a house near the university and decides to keep him around. Adam acts as a servant/caretaker of the house, and enjoys gardening. I plan on making a design for him soon.

As Frankenstein takes late night walks, he notices a graveyard shift caretaker of the university. He is quite skittish and is avoidant of Frankenstein. Eventually, the two meet through a mutual. Frankenstein learns that Francisco is illiterate, so he offers to tutor him. They eventually become really good friends, and eventual lovers.

However, Francisco confesses "I am a man, but I am a man trapped in a woman's body." However, Frankenstein assures Francisco that he loves him for his soul, and his biology does not matter.

History would say they were really good friends...

Oh, in addition to these, I wrote basically a one shot of the two in a style similar to Mary Shelley's voice? definitely ain't perfect but I might post that if people are interested LMAO.

Do you know if there is a place you can read peoples masters or PhD thesis?

I'm in a mood to read fascinating things and was wondering if a site like this exists or what I should to do find them

For any thesis writers, I'm happy to read as a beta reader! Like I'll be an editor and look for spell checks if that's what one needs I just wanna learn stuff

It was never 'Why are the curtains blue?'

It was always, and will forevermore be 'Why does the author want us, as the reader, to know that the curtains are blue?'

Every book you read in these classes is hand selected and has been thoroughly scrutinized and analyzed. Maybe not every book published will have this same topic, but on these well written pieces of literature, every detail was put in by the author to share more of the story. They are very intentionally in the way they set up the storyline and surrounding details.
