Immaturity or Higher Intelligence?

. It's a common misconception that your everyday nerd is immature do to his daily choice of entertainment. The "Doctor Who" marathons and Marvel smack downs are perceived as a no no in the pass time of teens. You watch an anime series like "Case Closed" and at first think that it is just a bunch of kids who strangely solves murder cases on there free time. Though the idea is odd, you watch it anyway. you later find out that the series is more then just that. A set story in which riddles and mysteries are left behind to keep you watching. With darker undertones referencing to the everyday society in which we live in as you stair at a decapitated mess on the floor of a world that has no real effect on you but you are drawn into another dimension of visual perception. Your previous views on the series have just gone out the window as you find yourself wanting more. Though not only does this prove that you are intelligent being that you can follow the Sherlock Holmes level crime scenes but that you enjoy a good exciting series no matter what form of television it comes on as. Cartoons are like the teens of television. While they carry a look of a more underdeveloped series but in reality they are more developed once you get a chance to view the person or in this case series in depth. In short, whatever series you watch should not be assumed as child's toy of a show because of its 2 dimensional cartoon like quality, when in reality it has more maturity than your "Jersey Shore" reality television series.
