A Favorite Game

One of my favorite games in my whole life so far is Kingdom Hearts. Whenever i play this game i am hooked to it for hours and hours without any other care in the world. Its so enjoyable and has a great story line that, to me, can not be matched by any game of today so far. I think what makes me like it so much is because of how a lot of my childhood shows are incorporated into it such as Tarzan. Its controls are easy to use and is really good as well as the graphics show on screen. i feel as though Kingdom Hearts has a hypnotizing factor involved where it compels a person to want to keep playing. The fact that Kingdom Hearts has several games does not help at all either. its as if you were putting oil on the fire. I am positive that this is a game mostly any person can grow to love if they gave it a real chance. This is a game that can make both a deep impression on you as well as move your heart with its story. I always wished that they would turn this game into a show or at least a movie series. I also believe the soundtracks used in this show is really good especially the melody which can put you in a trance or just plainly put you to sleep.

My Experience

About two weeks ago i participated in a show for my club. My club is called the spoken word poetry (swpc) which to me was the best club i ever joined and we always think this even far into the future. So what i did for the show, which was at a place called El Fogon, was a poem and rap mixed together with one of my close friends who is a great poet/rapper. He is like me in the fact that we write poems and raps but i do admit he is a little bit better at rapping  than me. But back to the show, it was a huge success many people came and saw us as well as the art which was also at El Fogon. The people who did the art was another club i had the privilege to be apart of known as the community art club who with there help made the event a huge success. Though the road leading to the event was hard but at times also very funny and joyful.It took a while for me and my friend to come up with the lines to our poem/rap and at times made us stay up all night trying to finish. But during that we had more laughs and fun then i have had in a very long time and when we finished it felt like a great accomplishment. If i had to i would do it all again without a moments hesitation. I have grown more mature with the help of SWPC and its a part of my life i never want to forget.

Morals vs Necessity or Impulse

The idea of right and wrong has become very jaded. This is because in general everyone knows whats right at the moment and not the overall outcome of our actions. We can go and view it in a more drastic and horrifying example. Lets say that you have just been warned that the American society will lead to the end of the entire world if it is allowed to go on with its existence. Being that you are warned about this horrid future you try to change the future but in every reality the selfishness of this one country always comes out to cause trouble that ends our world. Even if one or 2 Americans escape, their views will still create a near Hell on Earth. As stated before this is a drastic and horrifying extreme that will most likely and hopefully never happen but lets say it does happen. What then? Should you let history run its course or do you set up a plan to rid the world of all these innocent Americans and their point of views? These are issues faced by man everyday. Though not to this extent, we do face the idea of our own perception of necessities. What we may consider a need is to get the kid who stole your girlfriend away from you last year. Your first reaction is to hit the guy in the face because the anger has built up beyond its natural limit but consider this before you do that. Say you do hit him. What happens then? You could have just hit the wrong part of his face causing him to go blind or you can get sued for your rash actions. In the end we need to think our actions through. Ask yourself, who are these actions effecting? How will it affect you in the long run? The list of questions can go on and on but the message is to think before you act.

Immaturity or Higher Intelligence?

. It's a common misconception that your everyday nerd is immature do to his daily choice of entertainment. The "Doctor Who" marathons and Marvel smack downs are perceived as a no no in the pass time of teens. You watch an anime series like "Case Closed" and at first think that it is just a bunch of kids who strangely solves murder cases on there free time. Though the idea is odd, you watch it anyway. you later find out that the series is more then just that. A set story in which riddles and mysteries are left behind to keep you watching. With darker undertones referencing to the everyday society in which we live in as you stair at a decapitated mess on the floor of a world that has no real effect on you but you are drawn into another dimension of visual perception. Your previous views on the series have just gone out the window as you find yourself wanting more. Though not only does this prove that you are intelligent being that you can follow the Sherlock Holmes level crime scenes but that you enjoy a good exciting series no matter what form of television it comes on as. Cartoons are like the teens of television. While they carry a look of a more underdeveloped series but in reality they are more developed once you get a chance to view the person or in this case series in depth. In short, whatever series you watch should not be assumed as child's toy of a show because of its 2 dimensional cartoon like quality, when in reality it has more maturity than your "Jersey Shore" reality television series.

One Thing I Learned From High School

    The one thing i learned from high school is that i have more potential then i previously thought. When i first got to high school i was not really doing much with my life. I even had a daily routine for during the week, which was wake up, go to school, go to class, barely do any work, and then go home. I was a 70 average type of student and at that time i completely accepted that fact. But then i started to adventure out and i joined several clubs such as the spoken word poetry club, the art club, and the film club. Not only did i start joining clubs but also because of the first new friends i met, who ironically were on the honor role, made me want to improve my grades in all my classes and change my grade point average.

    Then, because of a friend, i tried out for a sport i had no clue existed until my freshman year in high school. The name of the sport was lacrosse and it turned out that i was actually pretty good at it and i grew to love it. It became one of my top favorite sports next to basketball. Through all these different events i realized that i could do more than i originally planned and i was happy because of it. I can say that high school has given me enlightenment to what i am capable of accomplishing. Furthermore, i learned several other things from high school but for now this will suffice.

My Biggest Fear going to College

     I honestly don't have any real fears going to college. I have heard about the hard work I will have to do when I get to college and how I will probably get less sleep because of it. But to be honest I know its going to be tough, I do not mean to be blunt, but that is college life, right? I understand that work is not the whole college experience and there will be several other things that i will get to do while in college. All I really have are probably little worries such as whether or not I will be able to keep up with the work or not. I actually don't mind the hard work I will receive in college because i think it will help me become better by pushing me. I want to have new experiences and make memories while in college.

     An idea I have been having is to join an internship program at a job I probably want to work at or at least at a job that has something similar to what i might want to do in the future. I believe because of the way my parents raised me and just my personality by itself I am not afraid of going to college. Even though i do not have any fears for myself my parents, on the other hand, have a few. An example of what i mean is that my mom is worried about my safety and how i will keep myself fed because i want to live on campus instead of commuting. But to sum it up I have no fears of going to college and I am ready for what the future holds.

100 Nights Memory

The things i remember from my 100 Nights Dinner are kind of fuzzy. Mostly because I am the type to forget quickly then remember, spontaneously, out of no where randomly. But what i do remember is the delicious ice cream i had after dinner to which i still cannot remember what i ate. I do know that the ice cream was very good especially the whip cream. I love whip cream on my ice cream and, of course, when i am drinking hot chocolate. Besides the ice cream i also remember sharing a bunch of laughs with friends and the funny pictures we had taken together. I also remember the fun things we did while we were hanging that night. It was actually a great time and i am glad i went that night and was there with so many people that i knew. If someone asked me would i ever do that night over again i would say yes before the person even finished asking the question. i would say that it was time well spent.
