What book can you read over and over again?
The Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit. Especially the Hobbit; it's shorter and more lighthearted and I love Bilbo Baggins. The only problem I have with the book is that it's a long, long sausagefest but other than that mmmmm Bilbo
What’s your favorite kind of tea?
Earl Grey. It smells good and I can drink it straight up without retching - I mean sometimes some black teas get a bit too bitter you know?
What is your favorite fairy tale? Why?
Cinderella, perhaps - it's an archetypal tale and it's about overcoming adversity and social mobility and it's a really nice feel-good story okay
What’s your favorite ice cream flavor and why?
I dunno. I like trying new flavours whenever possible.
I think perhaps a classic that I'll always go to is Cookies and Cream though; it's just plain delicious.
What’s your favorite part of school?
Comparative Religions class. I really wish it'd go for more than one semester it's such a good class and I learn a lot from it, from fellow students and stuff. We hold really deep discussions and yeah...
Is there anything you wish you could un-read? What is it?
Legendary badfics. Especially Agony in Pink and C*l*br**n. Eurghhh.
What’s your favorite dessert? Why?
Crème Brulée. When it's done well it is the most delicious thing ever.
What do you want to see happen this year?
I want to go back up to NorCal again. One fucking day in San Fran with the CSSSA peeps (and Alexis!) was not enough. At. All.
What was your favorite toy as a kid?
I had a stuffed duck plushie I brought over from China. He was the cutest thing. He was fat and wore green overalls and I can't find him anymore... I think he got tucked away with the Christmas ornaments. Sometimes I miss him.
Who is your fictional crush and why?
...Only one?
Okay, fine. I'll go with Frodo Baggins.
I just... it's not just Elijah Wood, but Elijah Wood's big blues really do help but man, Frodo. The poor dear. I just want to give him hugs and kisses and tell him it'll be all right. I mean he did go through most of LotR thinking Gandalf was dead and it just breaks my heart because after Gandalf fell, there was that shot in the films to him shedding like a single manly hobbitly tear and from then on I don't think he ever really smiled... like really really smiled... until the end in Minas Tirith when he met with Gandalf again and aaaaaaaa Frodo my love...
My questions:
If you could meet an alternate universe version of yourself, what do you think would be the biggest difference between the two of you?
If you found a magic ring, would you use it?
Who is the one person you're glad you're not?
If you could bring back one person/thing from the dead, who would it be?
What do you think you did in a past life?
What is the story of your parents' romance, if there was any?
If you had a Patronus, what animal would it be and why?
Are science and religion capable of coexisting? Why or why not?
If you had to live without one sense, what would it be?
What is your definition of paradise?
Is it better to be forever wandering, or to stay rooted to one place?
Sorry these are far too deep for like... arse o' clock at night
