i'm making a post-apocalypse series where people get turned into dinosaurs, and the way i describe it to people is amazing because it varies so widely depending on who i'm talking to

to people who aren't tf fans: it's an exploration of what it means to be human through the lens of losing physical humanity. it has lots of themes of trying to survive in a world that resembles what you know less and less with every passing day, holding on to the past, and living with the knowledge that anything you have can be lost, no matter how precious it may be to you or how hard you may fight to keep it safe

to people who are tf fans: i like dinosaurs and wanna be one, so this is just a very specific wish fulfillment thing with some other story tropes i like

Most underrated type of tf, GO!!

Oh my GOD- okay first off to be clear: everyone has one of these. Everyone has an opinion on what kind of TF is underrated, what kind they want to see more of and what they think deserves more love, and they're all right. TF is a wide as hell interest, and like god damn we're insatiable, but that's alright because it really IS good. (so long as it isn't hurting people but that's a given.)

That said.

Fucking. OC TF. I want to TF into your OCs. I WANT TO TF INTO SO MANY OF YOUR OCS SO BAD THEY'RE SO COOL OR HOT OR CUTE OR GENDER OR WELL CRAFTED OR ALL OF THE ABOVE AND EVERYTHING, and holy GOD I wish people made more TF content for their extremely extremely TFable OCs. Fursonas or sonas in general, dnd characters, original content characters, in-universe self inserts or other OCs made for canon material, the list goes on and on and on and ON. OC TF IS SO, SO UNDERRATED.

(I suffer from what I like to call 'chronic fast TF mood metabolism' and it's terminal. It's forever. I'm in this for the long haul. I see a hot character or a fat OC or a fuzzy AU of a character or a goddamn cool half-finished sketch of a design for something (usually ANYTHING) and I pick that TF mood up so fucking fast. I'm so FUCKED, you have to understand. Please, please make TF content of your extremely TFable OCs I am STARVING.)

Oh my god, absolutely- possession as TF triggers has lead to some of my favorite kinds of TF that I've seen, and especially when there's some degree of the previous self still kicking around in the new mind's identity (which I have the sneaking suspicion, is yet another facet to possession being inherently plural, hehe)!

But the question was rather about whether possession itself is TF, rather than solely TFs Caused by possession... and to that, I would answer that yes, it is! There's a distinct change that could very well happen as a part of such a possession- a sudden or gradual change in perspective, in personality, or even identity that that individual goes through when undergoing possession like this. And mental TF is still TF, I say!

Conclusion: Yes, this is TF.

ooh, wait, I’mve got one- a maze made of plush with traps that slowly turn you into plush! Like, oop, wrong way, now your foot is a plush paw that’s twice as big as it was before! Pillow fell on your head, now you have plushie ears on your head! Full on massive plush rug that you sink into and turns your entire body below your head to plush! Oh, and you know how people will make those traps that shoot sticky rubber orbs at you? That, but instead of sticking, their plushies that envelop and plushify whatever they hit~
